Comment on the CCC draft annual plan
The Council's Draft Annual Plan for 2012/13 and proposals for 10 Major Community Facilities will be released for public consultation for four weeks, from 20 April 2012 to 21 May 2012.

New Red Cross Grants
The New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Commission have announced two new grants for earthquake affected Christchurch residents - A Storage grant and a new Winter Assistance grant.
Sumner earthquake book
The book Shaken, Not Stirred: Family survival in a quake zone by local journalist Amanda Cropp is written as a diary of post-quake life and includes 24 colour photos, many of them taken in Sumner. Copies can be purchased from Sumner Book shop.
